jp
it's difficult not to be enjoy by theses pictures, they are very great, Like you i make some try with microscope lense, but it's not easy, the subject distance is very smal and it's very difficule to have a good light. What lens do you use a X10 or something else ? thanks again for theses pictures. by

Ruben Resendiz
thank you very much for your nice comments Wow, incredible pictures! I think the ping is my favourite. Are you sure that's a drosophyllum seed? Looks like a photo of an avocado to me ;) Jejej Yes, Drosophyllum seed looks like an avocado, with that size Outstanding photos! Those P. esseriana glands look like made of glass. Your other photos on Flickr are also very, very good. BTW: congratulations to the upcoming baby! Thank you very much because of my baby, This April celebrated its first year, lol, but she started playing my Dionaeas and my plants it's difficult not to be enjoy by theses pictures, they are very great, Like you i make some try with microscope lense, but it's not easy, the subject distance is very smal and it's very difficule to have a good light. What lens do you use a X10 or something else ? thanks again for theses pictures. by Jp is a pleasure to say hello again and see you also are taking great pictures with this technique, order to take these photos require a fixed light source and also flash as much as possible, the only problem is with mucilage droplets reflects light, and requires much further work to leave a finally processed photo with Zerene Stacker, but I'm learning to handle that. When you seek a microscope lens, try to have the following legend ELWD (Extra Large Working Distance), That will give you more working distance between the subject and the lens, I have 4 microscope lenses, the best of all is Nikon 10X CFN Plan Achromat Objective 0.30 160/0.17 The distance is 9.22 mm between de subject and the lens, I have another very good lens is the JML 21mm directly from JML Opticals, This lens works probably as a 4X depending on the length of the bellows but is really good lens, and 2 other good lenses and relatively cheap which you can also practice 4x an 10X Nikon Achromatic from Edmund Optics. Anything you need please contact me, and Thanks for you comments. ThanksTo All, Cheers
