Steeevoe
Your terraium looks amazing, I would be pleased to have something like that in my house, and the CPs look nice and 'at home' in there! Good job! Steve
manders
Thats got to be one of the coolest terrariums! I did just wonder if your ampullaria might be a bit on the dry side?
maurizio
I' ve made the background with the help of a friend of mine with polyurethane and coloured with acrylic colours . It is about 1 meter long. About the ampullaria it has high umidity in the air and so even if the soil is not too wet it grows well.

Guest funky technician
Excellent setup, i really love the way you captured the "natural environment" look, like going for a walk in those plants native woods, very settling images :)
Guest Sheila
One question. I have a small terra and when I watch other ppls terras I see they have some mosses in it. How do you do it? You can either use live sphagnum moss as a top dressing, it soon greens up and starts to grow, or some of the smaller blanket mosses just grow naturally in time on the surface of moss peat. The green does look nice but the blanket mosses on the peat can be a nuisance as they get quite thick and sphagnum can get long and overgrow your smaller plants so it has to be kept in check, but it does give a settled look to a terrarium rather than a just planted look. Maurizio, your terrarium and plants look really good. I do like that rocky effect in it, it gives the whole planting character. :)
