  5. one of my favourite aroid.. BTW, if anyone out there has a spare offset to give away I would be very happy to buy one
  6. some fantastic bunches of leucos you have there, Ada! so promising! ;) giu
  7. thanks Stephen, it's always good to keep track of the origin of our plants; in any case, I like my "imposter", probably much more than the real one! ;) giu
  8. you're right Diva, thank you for your clarification. As Stephen says, there are so many different varieties in cultivation using the same name, and it's always important to remember how many plants we've almost lost ( 'Daniel Rudd', 'Judy' , etc..) because of this. surely my plant doesn't match written and photographic description for Evendine. here's a picture of the label, that I assumed to be true: there's something else, in additions to the name Evendine, I can't decipher though.. anyway this is a nice plant indeed: this particular imposter stands out by attaining pitcher height as great as 80 cm (30 inches), and.. yes, it looks a bit like adrian slack! =) giu
  9. ..I thought to share. :) S. leucophylla Red & white two of my favourites: S. leucophylla clone #1 seed grown Appalachicola (Stephen Morley)& S. leucophylla, stocky red and white (MK L64)which keep on colouring up s. x evendine
  10. Hi everyone, does anybody know if people from Russia are allowed to import sarracenia seeds from the EU member states? Is there any restriction on sending seeds there from EU?thanks a lot - giu
  11. cheers, mates Ada, some of my plants have shown some kind of unorthodox behaviour as well.. some pitchers haven't developed properly (see my L18 above), some others - supposed to become red or pink - simply decided not to do that..
  12. some new shots I thought to share, hope you like them :) S. leucophylla Slack’s clone Robust pitchers, green/white plant received from Bill Sherren some years ago (thanks Bill ).. rampant & nice! ------------------ S. leucophylla large purple & white North Florida - ex SMcPherson this one comes from Stephen Morley, and it's definitely one of my favourite leucophylla! ------------------ S. leucophylla Red & white (MK L22); a well known plant, as the following (from Mike as well) ;) the latter shows an odd/deformed pitcher I've never seen before - it's not the only plant which is showing deformed pitchers top at the moment here anyway :/ ------------------------ S. leucophylla Hot pink Selections 1, Botanique (MK L48A), waiting for a better/hotter pink (actually the plant is still establishing, certainly needs more time to colour up well).. the same applies to the following: S. leucophylla – Stocky, Wide Mouth, Red Lip – ex. Bunting. Huge, very stocky and well marked (Aidan SL27); this plant is really rampant and vigorous: a superb clone! --------------- LBNL, an ugly picture (I'm sorry) for a lovely plant : S. leucophylla Large white lid Citronelle, Alabama, W PWilson, L03, 2004
