Got 8 quite good divisions with some root system on them all maybe 4 not so good sections, and about 20 leaves for cuttings but most of those were pichers.I tend to have less success with rooting pitchers than I do non carnivorous leaves

They were split a few days ago later than I normally split but guess half should be ok.I would normally split around December and move them into a heated propagator

The pot was about 6 inches deep originally but moved them to much smaller 8 cm pots till they establish

8 diversions. Nice! Maybe I should split my 2 pot of small cephs since they seems to have 2 to 3 diversion now. Thw last time I split the main pot was last nov I think.

I have found that splitting small plants can set them back a few years, compared to the plants left whole until they mature.   You are better off waiting until it develops long enough rhizomes to have separate root systems with each growth point.  It only when they get to be fairly large that I take divisions regularly, and that amounts to separating off the shoots that come up away from the main clump, as they start to mature.

This was aug 2013 when i split my ceph into 3

After the repot. Many pitcher dried n died as expected due to disturbance in the roots. I'm sure I accidentally pull out some roots. In 3 to 4 monts later in dec 2013 they look like this. I think some growth did slow down. But luckily 1 diversions wasn't affected much and seems to be growing well.

With cuttings from pitchers I tend to have more succes if I put the pot in a closed plastic bag keeping the humidity high that way.  The pitchers don't dry out as easily as they would normally do this way.

the vast majority did survive and seem to be growing or rooting fine got a few leaf cuttings and pitcher cuttings to root, but not a great deal as it was a little late in the year for cuttings at the time
