  1. Where i live, we use this suculent as a natural medicin for external human injuries. At this moment i'm using it to treat Sarracenia rhizomes infected with the pathogens Rhizoctonia or Fusarium with positif results http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800x600q90/585/11vc.jpg
  2. I think that the use of orchid leaf fertilizer in a Sarracenia is verry helpful, since you avoid the contact of it whith the soil.

Thank you all. The red flowers in the background in the first pic. are S. leucophylla x S. rubra ssp gulfensis. Yes those are S. Leucophylla 'Hurrycane creec' from 2007 ICPS seed bank.

  7. The Aeonium glutinosum is an endemic suculent from Madeira and Canarias Islands and during the blooming time it catches and digests insects as you can see throught these pics, but... it needs to be proved. See the rest of the digested insects presented as small points http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/8577/imagem091ud.jpg http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/3904/imagem088ma.jpg http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/277/imagem089a.jpg
  8. Yes its a great pleace to leave, and grow cps. We have only the Aeonium glutinosum that caches lots of insects during the blooming time, as these photos shows, but nit sure if it can be considered a proto-carnivorous plant. http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/8577/imagem091ud.jpg http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/3904/imagem088ma.jpg http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/277/imagem089a.jpg
