Neil Cornish
Below is a plant I brought from the small plant section in a local superstore. It came labelled as Nepenthes Goblin and looks to have originated from Exotica plants. I've done a search for any info and all I can find is a online Orchid supplier which also offers it for sale. When I brought it about six months ago it was looking a bit sorry for itself and only had two dying pitchers on it. Since then it's responded very well to some TLC and is now one of my favourite plants. I'm guessing it's probably tangalensis x maxima or something very similar? Enjoy! Daniel O.
Hi Neil, really a very beautiful plant with a lot of active well coloured pitchers , it seems to like your conditions. Never heard about a Nepenthes Goblin, how big are the pitchers? Best regards, Dani
maxposwillo
Hi Neil, Nice plant! It looks to me like N. x 'Exotic Lady' (N. maxima x talangensis).
mobile
What a wonderful find for a garden centre. All I've ever found here is the ubiquitous 'ventrata' or 'jungle bells'.
Stefan P
Great plant, the pitchers look like they are in a little army Nice find, I've also only ever found ventrata in my local garen centre, boo hoo

Neil Cornish
Thanks for all the comments. Dani, the largest pitcher on it is about 7-8 inches long. Maxposwillo, I'm not sure it Exotic Lady originates from EP but they were selling Goblin down in Sydney so I'm not sure if there the same plants. Very similar anyway. It was your posting with Exotic Lady in it that prompted me to take a few pics of mine. Nice plant by the way. Stefano, if you go to the plant market on Sunday morning in the east end you'll be able to pick up some Neps other than Ventrata.
