  6. About a week ago I visited the Butterfly Valley in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Northern Californica. Located deep in the valley there is a bog bordering both sides of the road containing Darlingtonia californica and Drosera rotundifolia. Utricularia minor is said to be found there but I never found any.
  7. About a week ago I headed to the Gasquet area of Northern California in search of Darlingtonia californica, Pinguicula macroceras, and Drosera rotundifolia. Site 5 This site was a boggy seep located right alongside a highway, Darlingtonia californica, Pinguicula macroceras, and Drosera rotundifolia were all present. Site 6 This site was located on both sides of a popular hiking trail in Northern Gasquet. Only Darlingtonia californica was present.

Site 3 This site is a very large serpentine seep alongside a highway south of Gasquet, CA. It is almost a wall of Darlingtonia californica and Pinguicula macroceras. Site 4 This site is known as the Darlingtonia Trail, the Darlingtonia Trail is a trail built by the goverment to raise awarenesses of Darlingtonia californica, there are several information boards as well as two viewing platforms.
  9. About a week ago I headed to the Gasquet area of Northern California in search of Darlingtonia californica, Pinguicula macroceras, and Drosera rotundifolia. Site 1 This site was a serpentine seep located alongside a highway in Southern Gasquet, Darlingtonia californica and Pinguicula macroceras were both present. There were very few Darlingtonia compared to Pinguicula however. Site 2 This site was a serpentine seep along a popular hiking trail. Only Darlingtonia californica was present.
  10. About a week ago I headed a little ways north of the Eureka/Arcata area in Northern California to photograph Drosera rotundifolia in a bog located in close proximity to the ocean. The only CP present was Drosera rotundifolia however there was plenty of Sphagnum moss. Unfortunately it was raining and many of my photos did not turn out to well, but enjoy the couple good ones.
