Wiser
Hello everyone. I've just spent the morning drooling over the plants on Borneo Exotic's sensational Gold Medal winning stand at the Chelsea Flower Show. Absolutely outstanding Nepenthes specimens in a stunning display. Here are a few pictures - I thought it was worth posting quite a few: Jamban: Spathulata x Spectabilis 'Helen' Wiser
James O'Neill
Those are some of the best Nepenthes I have seen - that sibuyanensis

mobile
Borneo Exotics always have such wonderful displays and this one is no exception. I only wish I lived nearer to Chelsea, so that I could see them for real. Thanks for the pictures Wiser
Mark Long
Wow! The picture inbetween the pics of lowii and jamban; is that a burbidgeae with two traps in the middle of the picture? It looks incredible! Cheers for posting, Mark
thez_yo
Wow... that's just utterly droolworthy!
Tim Caldwell
They've done a great job of showcasing the amazing variety of different colours, shapes and sizes of Nepenthes pitchers. And there's something there for everyone, newbies and seasoned connoisseurs alike. I'm a simple kind of bloke, so personally I love the really big ones, especially the huge N. truncata and N. sibuyanensis. Someone's going to make a lot of money inventing a special clip-on drool cover for computer keyboards (yes I've obviously given it some thought). Thanks very much for posting Wiser! lowii
Nice you got there Matt. Is the N. truncata on the pic with the ugly duckling the one you got from me? It seems to like your conditions. What gender is your flowering N. singalana? Michael

It seems to like your conditions. What gender is your flowering N. singalana? Michael Yeah the Truncata is the highland red one I got from you, it is doing really well thanks and adjusted well to my conditions I know you had it in a terrarium, but it seems to like it in my conservatory and is one of my favourites I just love the pitchers it produces, as for the gender of the singalana, I do not really know how to tell I understand its something to do with the shape of the flowers. lowii
Yes, the plant looks really good. I'm glad your happy with it. For the gender you have to look at the flower buds, the male one are spherical whereas the female ones are oval. But it needs some experience to figure this out. Are there already flowers open? Michael

Zhilin
Very impressive neps. Just want to know, can I buy neps from BE via their website (retail)?
marcello catalano
As we're talking about the impressive BE plants, I remind you to keep your plants' codes, because if your N. singalana is for example a N. singalana BE3248, all the other data you need will be found here:Â www.marcellocatalano.com/aaa.htm And that's always a work in progress! :) cheers Marcello Edited January 28, 2017 by marcello catalano
