Loakesy
...my new baby http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product_Finder/Cameras/Digital_SLR/EOS_60D/ Finally picked it up yesterday. There are so many bells and whistles, I don't think I'll ever fully get to grips with it, but it will be fun trying. I hope to take plenty of photos of my plants this year, unlike last year. nadja77
Great choice! Canon makes nice cameras. I am currently eying what I think is one level down from yours, being the Canon Rebel Ti3. It will be nice to see some photos taken with your new toy! hint, hint...
Gekon
Nice camera :) I had opportunity to try out that camera. However, I am the ''nikon man'' :) Therefore, for my birthday I got Nikon D90 :) Edited March 13, 2012 by Gekon
Loakesy
I did consider the Nikon, but as all my lenses are Canon fit, it made sense to for the same again. I they're much-of-a-muchness when it comes to quality. As soon as my plants start to do anything really exciting I'll be ther with the camera. BTW this was paid for (almost solely) by ebay sales - mostly CPs - and I didn't touch the bank account. And it only took me about 4 months to raise the funds! Darkrai283
Very Good Choice there! For people on a lower buget, a Canon EOS 550D's very good as well. I got it as a gift last year and its so awesome!
