  1. I have thought about that yeah, I'll do it when I start running out of space lol.
  2. Thanks all It is 16 foot, so a little bit bigger than my last one. I'm hoping to fill it fairly quickly
  3. I had an early morning delivery a couple of weeks ago Finally all finished, I hope to move my plants tomorrow
  4. It could be mycelium of a fungus or fungus-like bacterial colony.
  5. I thought it would have been less than 100ppm. I must say I'm very jealous of the 19ppm from the tap too! One thing worth noting though, the lack of dissolved solids in the DI water shouldn't do them any harm and won't rob the plants of minerals. Roots work by osmosis.
  6. Just put of interest, what would be a 'safe' limit on the ppm?
  7. I certainly need that 4th, we have 420ppm straight out the tap.
  8. Something to think about, I'll see how it goes. I might give it a try anyway and report back.
  9. Thanks, will do There's a kit available for the system I have to put a second RO membrane on the waste water outlet to increase the water output and decrease waste. Would that be worth doing?

  11. I've not had anything like that before. I've had a handful of people that don't seem interested I admit but more often than not people take an interest and I get asked loads of questions.
  12. Being as we've had little rain and none in the forecast for the next three weeks at least I've just bought an RO system with a DI filter. Having read other threads on here I see there's a few people with them and I'd like to pick your brains about getting the best out of it. Any helpful hints and tips would be greatly appreciated.

  14. My water butts are empty and I have about 500L in the IBC tank so I'm OK for a few more weeks but it's getting desperate. This weather has been great for work but not my water supply!

  17. I saw this on Facebook in the week, very sad news indeed. He was an inspiration to so many including myself. His was the first book I got bought when I started collecting Carnivorous Plants nearly 19 years ago. I am proud to say I have some of his famous plants in my collection and I also have a couple of the stunning S x Moorei named after him.

  20. I remember on a family holiday we went to Chesil beach fossil hunting. I have been meaning to go back for years.
  21. Coming from a musical family I play the electric guitar in my spare time. Although I must admit not as much as it like to. I did use to fill my time with some green laning and off-roading when I had my Land Rovers
  22. A pair of S. flava var atropurpurea, both from Blackwater FL
