Hero
Hey world! I am planning on ordering a hamata from Wistuba. They have four clones and I wondered which one was the right one... I have no real preference but I would like to get my money's worth from this... could anybody out there who has ordered any of the wistuba clones give me some feedback on what hamatas they have? A picture would help if you have one. Once again, any feedback is much appreciated! Thanks!

I looked into the Wistuba clones a month or so ago when i was looking to buy one, the general consensus is that they are all very similar. I dont think there is one of the four that really stands out
flycatchers
Hi Here are closeups of my clone 1 I am growing clone 4 as well but that is very small at the moment. At a similar size it looks identical to my clone 1! cheers bill
benenthes
i think it's all the same.. if one was bigger than another it would be more expensive! cheers ben
loligo1964
I have heard from several US growers that Clone-One tended to grow more rapidly than the other three; other than that, all of the N. hamata clones closely resemble one another, from what I have seen . . . Icarus
i have to agree, the N. hamata from wistuba have very small diameter, but they grow fast. i also heard that the clones differ not much from each other. i grow clone
Dave Evans
Well, there are four clones from Wistuba and two or three from Borneo Exotics. But I think these first clone batches were grown from seed collected from the same female plant, or at least from the same location. These plants *should show* very little differences as they are all siblings or cousins to each other--but hey not a problem for me as they all look really nice. Just wish there had been a female in the bunch...
