    D. Ordensis

Guys, what are the ideal growing requirements for D. Ordensis, mine is in decline. Its currently kept between 20-25 C, 75-85 % humidity, about 18cm from 3 flo tubes with a 16 hour photo period. It appears to be drying up, no real new growth. On the flip side my Adelae, Paradoxa and Prolifera seem to be doing great Regards Paul
  7. I'm not surpised, my stock of rainwater is running low at the moment, and thats in the NorthWest just south of the Lake District, where rain is never that far away Regards Paul
  8. Andrew, IMHO, just as mother nature intended, rain water is the best. But RO water should be ok. Regards Paul

    Nepenthes outdoors?

Farmkiddo, you need to add a location to your profile, it will help with any replies given to your question. I live in the North West of UK, and have kept my young N. Alata outside all of this summer, it seem to be doing fine :) There are a few threads on the forum which discuss keeping Nepenthes around the house which you may also be interested in. Regards Paul
  11. I've gone through 2 CPU fans !!! each one lasted less than a week. If you get your external setup sorted, post some pictures I'd be interested in how it works out. Regards Paul
  12. Freebird, looks like D. Capensis put it outside or leave on your windowsill and it will become a monster very robust ! will withstand a nuclear attack. Regards Paul

    D.Capensis Alba

Cliff, I just keep my Capensis on a windowsill, and it grows fine. Could it not be to high a humidity ? Regards Paul
