Tim
This plant got about 8 inches before the first trap opened. It was from a group of unnamed bulbs from Lowrie. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it is?
Guest Sheila
From the back view it looks like it could be peltata Does it look like this from the front? http://mywebpages.comcast.net/tamlindd/pic...er_033103_8.jpg
Tim
Here is the front view I was under the impression peltata was smaller, this plant was thick and 6 inches tall before the traps started opening.
Sean Spence
The fact that the plant is quite thick could mean that the plant is D. gigantea. The greyish looking stem also makes me think it could be a from of D. gigantea. This plant certainly does not look like D. peltata. Other species from WA with similar leaf shapes are D. neesii & modesta. I'm almost certain it's not one of these.
