V.J.Treasure
Hello all, Here's the second part of my pictures (there's a limit so I couldn't fit it all in one thread). 1. Some south african beauties: D.capensis {truly red form, BG Bonn} D.aliciae {large form, fuzzy scapes} D.venusta D.venusta 'coccicaulis' {= D.venusta 'type' ?} D.venusta {Tsitsika, near Toopish, SAF} D.dielsiana x natalensis {= "D.x'snyderi'"} 2. And finally some Nepenthes...: N.spathulata N.macfarlanei N. ventricosa x (dubia x singalana) N.copellandii N.ventricosa x ramispina N.tentaculata "Giant" x talangensis N.ventricosa x maxima Enjoy! Greetings, Valentin Edited September 26, 2008 by V.J.Treasure
Mathijs
Are you sure that is a N.diatas?? Looks more like a N.spathulata to me...
Stefan P
Really nice plants, I really like the D. Venusta ;)
SamInLondon
I wonder whether your singalana(?) might not be a ventricosa x (dubia x singalana)? Looks similar to one I have.
V.J.Treasure
It is, Sam, I just hadn't the info right here and remembered that singalana was in it. I think it was a free extra plant from Kamil Pasek.
Khelljuhg
Fantastic plants! I think that what people call D. x "snyderi" is D. dielsiana X nidiformis.
V.J.Treasure
Hmm might be, would actually make sense as neither D.natalensis nor D.dielsiana have that long leaves.
Guest carnipoland
x 'snyderi' is diesiana x nidiformis for sure. when plant is gettin bigger the leaves become quite long and robust which is from nidiformis genes.
