A small artists' brush also makes a very nice tool to transfer the pollen.

To add to the discussion and the photos you posted, here is a series of photos I took last year that shows the various stages of flower and seed production. Hopefully this discussion thread will be helpful to people who are learning to pollinate and harvest seed from Dionaea.

Oh, so that's how you get the seed! I just found today a seed pod open on my VFT! I'll get the seeds now then.

You can also simply rub one flower with ripe pollen on another flower with receptive stigma.
