Guest cristianoblank
My Expedition was in the coast of the state of the Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil... These photos are of the city of "Nova Tramandaí", being that the first photo is the aeolian park of Osório in result of the strong winds that constantly blow in this place... In the reality, the expedition was a disaster, therefore I had many misfortunes and problems, such as to lose the house key, fall in the mud .....however, I find some Cps.... Yes it was a worthwhile experience... In the place it had Drosera Capillaris and Drosera Brevifolia (which did not give time of make more photos), and some species of Utricularias: Utricularia Tricolor, Utricularia Laxa, Utricularia giba (aquatic) and Utricularia Subulata.... Who will have interest the geographic coordinates of the place is: S 30 02'38 W 50 10'12, who to want to look at in google earth. the habitat Some Drosera Capillaris Utricularia Tricolor I wait that they have liked... Guest Andreas Eils
Cristiano, the enlargement function of the thumbnails doesn´t work, unfortunately! So the pics are a little bit small. It would interest me as well: Does someone know how the thumbnail function works on this board software? Regards, Andreas

This works: (url="http://www.image.jpg")(img)http://www.thumbnail.jpg(/img)(/url) ...of course with squared brackets! Martin Hingst
Hello Christiano, thanks for the pictures! Especially the tricolor pics are very interesting to me. In danger of getting boring - I am still searching for proves that the frequent abortion of tricolor flower stalks in culture may have something to do with lack of support. It seems as if the flowering stalks in habitat have (at least very often ) some grip on the grasses. There are some nice indications for that in your pics. Guest Andreas Eils
Thank you Nicole! I knew this code before but it hasn´t worked the last time I´ve wanted to use it at CPUK! But this has been before the last forum update. Cristiano, now that´s better! Hoi, that coast with all the wind wheels looks almost like my homeland, North Germany! But unfortunately there are no carnivores anymore! U. tricolor is very nice when flowering. Unfortunately the most plants in cultivation refuse to flower! I´m curious what you´ll find on your next trip to Osório during the carnival holidays! Daniel O.
Hi Cristiano, nice place you have visited there. It´s the best to see "our" plants in nature. The soil seems to be very dry. I like the U. tricolor (yes Andreas, a little mistake????) Mine also has never flowered, it´s a beast. Best regards, Dani
