numpty
Taipei is a pretty built-up place, but it's hemmed in by some very rugged country. I made a little trip out to the eastern suburbs a few days ago ... a nice spot up in the hills where a colony of U. graminifolia grows. This, apparently, is a naturalised species, which in Taiwan is known only at this location. Anyway, it has a nice flower of a vivid hue of blue. Location, about 350m asl. A nice view, and one of the rare nice days we've had this past month. Not sure ... this pic might be upside down, or at any rate askew. And lest it seems like this location required laborious route-finding through remote, gnarled jungle ...
