  1. that is exactly my view as well its obvious within any population.
  2. I wouldnt be surprised at all. but, I tend to muck up these taxonomy discussions so I rather stay away from them :) I tried to get a look at the leaves in the pic Gareth posted but I couldnt really see them. that said - I really am no taxonomist but I will happily take detailed pics of this plant if it could help. earlier, I checked BE's catalog and the 3312's they have posted dont look like mine in their lowers (but they look like the smaller pitchers of my plant) but the uppers look similar to add to your can o worms - although im not sure what this means: smaller pitchers from this plant look a lot more like typical sanguinea. but these big ones lose the slender, shapely build and lose the prominent hip. I do remember someone once saying that all the genting HL plants may be hybridized to some or other extent because they all grow in very close proximity to each other.
  3. thats BE-3312 On a later order I asked Rob specifically for a darker sanguinea from the same catalog number which he sent. today I noticed that that plant is starting to look a lot like the one I posted above and its got different looking leaves to my sanguinea's from MT
  4. sorry pic didnt post: hope this works
  5. Hi guys Corky asked me to post this pic here and these are the uppers: ive since cut the vine that made these pitchers so there are none of this size on the plant now - but summer is on its way here now so i may get a few again. Im quite surprised that this plant seems to be an oddity among cultivated Sanguinea because its just a BE clone. there must be more of them around?
  6. oh my, those are beautiful plants!!
  7. Hey Nadja Long time! I made that cross in the past already and there are a few of those seedlings floating around now. But yes, sure. I will send you some of the pollen when its ready. when will your vent female be ready for pollen?
  8. Hello All I would have liked to make my first post more exciting, but I will have to try again with my next post :) I have a few flowers in the greenhouse at the moment and am hoping to get some interesting pollen for the females. with the males, im open to pollen requests. the first flowers (inermis X bongso and inermis X singalana) will open in about 3 weeks. Female: singalana Belirang inermis X Singalana Singalana X Ventricosa (bill bailey) Izumiae X Ramispina Ventricosa male: Ventricosa Red ventricosa X Inermis Inermis X Bongso The usual 50:50 seed split will apply. Thanks Peace :)
