  3. I've had this purp for a year now, it's grown loads. The pitchers are huge and it's colouring up well, it's still got to colour up more as last year it was more pink. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. The 'black secret' is my fave out of them all :). I have had a Hookeriana in the past and it was a rescue, in very bad state and too far gone to be saved, so I'm a little worried about keeping this one. I've put it on the warmest windowsill with other plants infront of it to give it dappled shade. Fingers crossed it'll be happy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. New plants have arrived from Hampshire CPs! I now need to stop buying neps for the moment, I've ran out of room for them. My greenhouse gets too hot for them in summer so most of them stay on my windowsills. 6. The pitchers are changing! They are getting speckles, the shape is changing. This one is more hour glass like. [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks! I'm going to try it when I repot! :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thinking about trying this out with a few cp's, going to try it with a ventrata that I took as cutting (so I have nothing to loose if it goes wrong), then I might try it with other cp's. I know that it's a type of volcanic rock from Japan, slightly acidic and I use it with some of my bonsai. What are people's thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Haha I only do it with bees others can be eaten. We need to save bees :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I tip them slightly to the side if I see a bee, or shove a branch in there and scoop it out!:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I fill the purps pitchers with water as I read that unlike other sarrs they rely on rain water to fill up pitches and catch food. Catches lots of moths too. I heard something buzzing in one of them today. I check for bees and try to rescue them but they can't be saved from the darlingtoina Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The purps have caught loads of slugs and have caught the flower petals from Eva. It's gross looking inside of them! Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks for that advice all of my sarrs are rescued so maybe they've needed more time to recover from the GC. You can see the Eva at the back with the flowers. I'm not sure if they've pollinated themselves or not, I'm just going to experiment really and see what happens. They are just stating to colour up now too...finally haha! 14. What's your experiences with repotting? Do you do it in summer (so they have chance to recover by winter) or in winter/early spring? I've always repotted February time and I've only had my S.eva flower (it is my oldest one and it normally flowers in spring and autumn but I cut them off in autumn). Am I repotting at the wrong time to stop flowering cus none of my others have flowered either, they were all bought last year (apart from Eva). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. It's not flowered since I've had it. Hopefully it'll still have chance to flower this year? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
