Trev
I remember reading years ago that P. gigantea can grow up to 12 inches across, but I never expected to manage it :-) Trev. Edited July 27, 2008 by Trev

Trev
I had several ones before that refused to grow and then died over winter. This one I grew from seed and it lives in my house on the south facing windowsill, and only gets watered occasionally in the summer and never in the winter. It flowered for the first time this year, 9 flowers over 3 months! Trev:-)

wadave
Not the sort of ping if you've only got a small space, it's gigantic....ea Does it get much light on your window sill? Dave.
Trev
Hi Dave, It's a south facing windowsill that gets about 6hrs a day of direct sunlight mid summer, and almost none mid winter. I have tried growing them in my greenhouse and conservatory but they didn't seem happy there. Trev:-)
