prized
Hi guy, does anyone of you has ever seen such a crest on the back of petioles? Is that a common trait for that clone?? Thanks Yuri
FlytrapRanch
That type of cresting on the petioles is common with the small-trapped, fused-marginal-spines Venus Flytrap clones, including "Long Red Fingers" and "Cross Teeth." The cresting also happens on quite a few other clones at times, although perhaps ironically, seemingly not as often (in my experience) on the clone named for that trait, "Crested Petioles." mantrid
On the subject of these VFTs ("Long Red Fingers" and "Cross Teeth." "Crested Petioles") I dont have them on my survey yet, even though they are common enough. Any growers fancy adding their experiences of these plants?
