But all you have to do is stand around outside for 10 minutes any July day and you'll get the same effect
Ah, but at the installation, you avoid being rained on!
...Sorry for being so pedantic...

Very clever! (I see you have put one of your interests as optoelectronics; it's obvious that you know what you're doing! )

'Tis a beauty!

Great looking plant! It's nice that you've finally got something back from it.

I am beyond amazed - your greenhouse is a visual overload! (It's a good thing )

What a beautiful location, and equally beautiful pictures!

Nice photos, thanks for sharing. You weren't lying about the terrible weather though!

Thanks for trying, I think ive tracked it down now, its appeared on the araflora website as Oncidium cheirophorum and thats probably were i bought it from, it was just never on their website before. Some guys on an orchid website seemed to think its more likely a hybrid though.
I'm not even close!

Some sort of Bulbophyllum?
It is a guess, to be fair...
-
Your photos are amazing! The close-ups are so well taken.

Depends on many variables, but normally anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks. Sometimes it may not show at all (or is very hard to see) until the first replate.
I'd agree with that. In my experience, some samples were quite clearly contaminated in a matter of days (and you will notice ), others will take a while. Check daily, I suppose (though if that's a significant effort, every other/few days.)

Very nicely done! I salute your dedication, and wish you luck with the actual plants.

Como Daniel G dijo, bienvenido a CPUK!
I´m sorry for my English, because I use a translator.
No es una problema, ya que mucha gente en el foro que no habla el inglés, y también hay personas que hablan el espanol.
(....Aunque quizás no lo hablamos muy bien... )
