I've had this Nepenthes Alata a few years now, I think this is it's third or forth winter.
I bought repotting materials in Summer last year, but I am inexperienced at CP repotting and I read somewhere that I should do it end of winter/beginning of spring.
It is in our conservatory which sees winter lows of 7 degrees c, this winter has been no different in there from previous. I normally consider myself decent at watering but have had trouble with my water butt and have been out of routine for a few months as we've not used the conservatory as much this winter (I've possibly under watered then overwatering to compensate although I can't be sure). This also means I've not kept a thorough eye on this plant as everything else in the conservatory has looked as expected on a quick glance.
Today I am gutted as I notice it looks like this and seems to have some aphids.
Why is it so sick (I can only guess root rot) and is there anything I can do to save it?
Thanks.
