limeslide
This year, I had the privalage of visiting Beaumont, Texas, USA to see Sarracenia alata in the wild! Well, more like in the outskirts of a metropolis. . I went to two trails in the area, I didn't see much but I had a lot of fun and I will gladly come again any time when I have the time. It was the end of the growing season thus the plants look a little mangled, but nonetheless here goes! These pictures are from Hardin County, Texas, USA and Tyler County, Texas, USA. Thanks for viewing! Man, I love how this forum automatically resizes pictures! Edited January 4, 2011 by limeslide
SteveV
Fantastic photos! "Mangled" or not, those plants look amazing, and seem to be attracting a lot of insects!
Tricky Utrici
Green with envy! I'd love to go see plants in the wild like that. Fantastic and great pictures too. Regards Tricky
