I've been dividing a few sarracenia over the last couple of days but had a bit of a mishap with a purpurea venosa var. burkii. I split it up but it turns out the roots were not directly under the main growing point (purps are so tricky to divide) and so the main part now has no roots whatsoever. Is it possible for it to grow new roots? I've brought it into the house so th warmth can enable to it grow. Should I cut off all the pitchers to prevent transpiration?
