Should you cut your Byblis rorida s flowers?

I sowed a few seeds of Byblis rorida a few weeks ago but unfortunately only one seedling survived until now and, even though it s still pretty small (around 5 cm stem) it started flowering.

Since it s an annual will it die after the flowers bloom? I´m asking this because since they don´t self-pollinate the only propagation i can do is through cuttings but it s still too small...

It´s my first time with the genus Byblis too...
