Green house position?????

Recommended Posts

While we are on lock down I'm landscaping the garden. I need to reposition the green house.

Do I move it to an area where it

1. Get morning sun then in dappled shade from a large apple tree then gets the sun late afternoon-about 6pm.

2. Gets morning sun then dappled shade the in the sun midday then just catching a very little sun as the sun goes down. As its next to a large shed.

What would be the best option??????

Then cut down the apple tree. Or get some glyphosate if it's a neighbour's tree

I was very tempted . I've already  cut a huge pine tree down that was taller than the house.  Plus I'm hoping to make cider and apple pies this year  from that apples  . Mmmmmmm apple pies and cider :P

In my opinion, you should choose the first option. The morning sun emits less ultraviolet light than the afternoon or evening sun. Therefore, this environment will be much more favorable for your garden. In any case, it all depends on your region's climate, so the choice is up to you. I use my garden for something else. Directly under the trees (they are large), I installed a small millboard decking. I placed a dining table and some soft chairs and hid it all under the tent so that it was comfortable to be there on sweltering days. My family and I love spending time there playing board games. It creates a feeling of unity with nature.
