Just one more point, has anyone else grown these new cultivars? To see if they perform the same in other conditions?Or have they just been registered and sold on eBay for high prices?. O.K that's a few points but still valid

These high prices for the new cv’s does make me think about  leviathan and what silly money that started at and within a few months what it ended up at when you are dealing with a National Collection, there must be quite a lot of them

a ton of fake 'leviathans' around. There was a big scandal on facebook a few months ago of people accusing Paul Young of selling fakes.

the authentic one is from Chris Rawlings, he sold several divisions on ebay at a fair and reasonable price.

Hopefully there'll be plenty for anyone who wants it in a few years. But there again it'll no longer be 'rare' and so probably no longer on so many wish lists!!

PS I picked one of this listing, smallest size to keep in my max I'll pay budget, and look forward to seeing what the fuss was about, or not.

people buy them because they are rare and not because they are beautiful? don't know if I agree, Adrian slacks is pretty common and still sought after.
