silverback
These plants are in the cold frame (lowest temperature: -2°C.) Medium is kept wet during the growing season. Plants are in a 2 cm. layer of rainwater. Mix is LFS with perlite and quartz sand. Top layer is also quartz gravel. At this moment only the rosette is visible. The typical long leaves shall come very soon. Edited November 30, 2019 by silverback
Noform
you bone dry the ground in summer? How high pot you have and what is the water lvl for the proportions to the height of the pot?
silverback
Plants are in square 13 x 13 x 12,5 cm. pots. During the growth always 1-2cm water at the bottom. Bone dry in summer isn't working for me.

silverback
From time to time some water on the table (2-3cm) and this just for an hour or so. Evaporation is reduced by the gravel on the top.
