Looks like water fleas (Cladocera) from what I can tell. They don't really help the plant digest, but they aren't harmful creatures either.

After watching the video clip a couple of times, I noticed something else: there's a small bug crawling on the outer right side of the leaf. I wonder if this is footage of its last living moments before it fell into the Sarracenial abyss.

Hi Carambola!! Thanks a lot for identification!!;-) 

the bug you have seen is a springtail... there are a lot on my sarracenia, and very often they fall in the abyss;-)

in my opinion it is very interesting to see that, either very far from its natural habitat, a very common purpurea is a little world of small creatures;-)
