Took an interest in these bug?fly eating plants about a year ago, purchased 1 saracenia pitcher, i cut plant back about mid november stuck it in my shed and decided today to put it back outside do you think i mabe to early with putting it back outside, note that i am on the east coast, many thanks  Diki

Hi Diki.  Welcome to the forum.  

Depends on the chance of a polar weather front moving in or not.  You can always shove it back in the shed if that does happen.  Or throw some sacking over it.  But if the weather stays as it is then outside is perfectly safe.  They're tough enough.

Hi Diki, welcome to the forum.

I’m in West Sussex and I’ve left my sarracenia purpurea purpurea and  Sarracenia leucophylla outside in the open all winter for several years now without any problems. Those are the only sarracenia I have at the moment. I don’t have a green house so I move my more tender plants (drosera, cephalotus, pings and utrics) into the porch which is not heated.
