Couple of Questions About Aphids

Recommended Posts

You can drain it off anyhow. Just make sure its medium remains moist. If it was me I wouldn't be concerned about it, I would take it out of the water and just put it straight back into normal conditions....

So I went for submerging for two days and then putting the plant straight back into its normal environment - seemed to clear the infestation right up!

I had a look at the plant a couple of days ago and noticed several patches of some sort of dew on it, as well as around the mouths of the newer pitchers. Is this a possible sign of a new infestation? No misshapen leaves yet.

Thanks Karsty! I had wondered if that was what it was, but given my relative inexperience with CPs (especially sarracenia!) I figured it worth checking.
