Netjer
I've had a couple of piggybackers pop up in the pot with my sarracenia purpurea and am hoping someone can help me identify them. Pictures below - the first is obviously some sort of drosera, capensis maybe? The other I'm not sure of and am not sure if it's even any sort of CP. Either way, any help would be appreciated. Thanks for looking. Edited May 20, 2018 by Netjer
carambola
Going by the leaf shape, it's likely to be a Drosera intermedia, the smaller Drosera at the bottom is probably the same. The other plant is just a weed, it's a common sight but I don't know what it's called.
Netjer
Thanks for the reply, carambola! Drosera intermedia is one of my favourite species of drosera, so I'm rather hopeful you're right on that one!
gardenofeden
The drosera looks more like nidiformis, not intermedia. The 2nd plant is a willowherb, remove it ASAP
carambola
You're right, it does actually look more like nidiformis. I automatically went for temperate species to match the Sarracenia.
