Darren Bruce
Morning ladies n gents. Can anyone help me identify this rogue . I have made several purchases of sundew over the years, mainly the temperate Anglica, rotundifolia and intermedia. It was in my outdoor pot but as it looks more like a tropical relative It's now got it's own pot in the bedroom Window. I have received a few freebies over the years and I'm prety crap at labeling up.
carambola
Highly likely to be Drosera aliciae, or some kind of hybrid. If you really want to label it, 'South African Drosera hybrid' is probably the most accurate you can get without resorting to guessing. Darren Bruce
Thanks Carambola. Aliciae was also the closest I could find by browsing pictures. Either way, glad I brought inside for the winter. Hopefully it'l flower next year which will help identify it :)
Nigel H-C
Definitely aliciae. There are only a very few Drosera hybrids. Regards Nigel H-C
