Karsty
Forgive me for being highly suspicious about this - Sarracenia purpurea venosa . I mean, I know the natural world continues to surprise us, but I've had slugs eating my Sarracenia purpureas! Karsty.

Alexis
A seal to stop odour? They absolutely reek when they've caught a slug!

It's bad enough when the flies start to break down in the other species. There is a rather unpleasant odour in my greenhouse at the moment and for once it's not the Dracunculus or Amorphophallus that's responsible
Nigel H-C
It also implies they can be planted out in the garden. This slug eating nonsense was started by some or other charlatan a number of years back and some outlets are still using it. Karsty
Actually, what they state about all of their CPs is largely nonsense. I've just emailed them about it, let's see what happens.
Nigel H-C
I did that once with another gardening website, and they didn't want to know as apparently they were experts!
Plantsman
'FRANKly', I'm a little surprised the source of such 'marketing' spiel hasn't been slapped on the wrist by now by a body such as Trading Standards for using these kind of claims on labels & point-of-sale material. It's misleading & misrepresentation but has been going on for years, unfortunately!

carambola
Hey, at least they don't claim the plants are tropical and should be grown indoors with mineral water. It's nice to know they're willing to correct the wrong info (and that they even replied in the first place).
manders
I dont think agreed to do anything did they? That message is equivalent to saying "ive just dropped your letter in the one day file and its the last either you or i will hear about it", lol. carambola
Assuming innocence without proof to the contrary has never hurt, but you're right that correcting info wasn't explicitly mentioned.
Karsty
Here they go again! Slug Eating Plant Sarracenia Purpurea Obviously have taken no notice of the right information.
