Rory
Hello, Just came back from a fantastic trip to Borneo, and of course saw a bunch of beautiful neps. So, I thought I'd show a few of my hundreds of photos. If someone's interested in more photos I probably have a bunch more I didn't post[emoji6] . In this post, I'm showing you the plants from Bako national park, Sarawak. I definitely took the most photos here and they were probably the best plants on the trip. More photos of the other locations will follow soon(mostly single isolated plants). (Several names corrected thanks to comment by François, if anything else is still wrong let me know) Nepenthes hirsuta Nepenthes albomarginata Nepenthes hirsuta Nepenthes albomarginata Nepenythes gracilis Nepenthes gracilis Nepenthes rafflesiana Rafflesiana upper pitcher Rafflesiana intermediate pitcher Gracilis Very dark rafflesiana lower pitcher Rafflesiana Nice rafflesiana uppers Gracilis in flower Rafflesiana Gracilis Ampullaria Huge rafflesiana with nice dark purple leaves Rafflesiana Gracilis Drosera spathulata var. bakoensis Miniature gracilis Albomarginata (I hope the post is clear, if not let me know) Edited September 3, 2017 by Rory

Rory
Here are some more pictures, the following were taken at Semenggoh Nature Reserve, where I also saw Orangutans. The picture of the Proboscis monkey was taken at Bako. Nepenthes Ampullaria Gracilis Statue of an Orangutan holding a Nepenthes pitcher. Orangutans Proboscis monkey(at Bako National park). Unknown Nepenthes which seemed like it may have been planted there (at Semenggoh). Edited August 26, 2017 by Rory
picol
Beautiful photos! Those rafflesiana and ampullaria are fantastic. The sundews looks some kind of burmannii to me.
Rory
Thanks everyone, just realised I forgot a few, I'll add them as soon as I can. As for the sundews, I'll try and find a clearer picture to help id them, thanks for the help so far
Sockhom
Hello, Very nice pictures. It reminds me of my own trip there several year ago. I miss Bako especially. A few corrections and infos: -The fourth picture of the first post shows N. albomarginata, not N. reinwardtiana. -The so-called N. rafflesiana hybrid is actually a rafflesiana intermediate pitcher. -The sundew is Drosera spatulata var. bakoensis. It is endemic from Bako National Park. -The last unknown Nepenthes seems to be N. mirabilis but I suspect there is a bit of hybridization with another species. Hope it helps. ;-) François. 1
Rory
Hi François, Thanks for the corrections, it's much appreciated. I'm happy you were able to help me with some corrections as I wasn't quite sure about some of the Id's. Interesting that the plant I thought was a hybrid is actually just a pure rafflesiana, however now you mention it it makes perfect sense. Once again, thanks for the help. Anyway, here are some pictures I took on Kinabalu! Nepenthes mirabilis Rafflesia keithii (76 cm diameter!) Platerodrilus Nepenthes Fusca Tentaculata (kinabalu) fusca tentaculata Edited December 19, 2017 by Rory Added a name
Little-Bacchus
Great image of a Platerodrilus, such a primal looking beasty.
