Diy shops selling plants

Recommended Posts

This really annoys me. Had to rescue two pitcher plants yesterday from home based.  Both dried out completely and withered. I sneakily moved them outside in the hope of some rain.

To be honest, they don't need rescuing. They are propagated in their tens of thousands for the houseplant trade and are practically disposable. They die, and are easily replaced on the next order.

I know but it  doesn't feel right just leaving them there. I wold have bought them but as they were asking full price I didn't bother. No growing advice either. Poor things never stood a chance :nono:
