bigphil1984
So I'd definitely need to get a greenhouse then?Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
carambola
No, but it's going to give you better results. On a regular windowsill it will grow very slowly and won't consistently form pitchers (not that you would really notice the special characteristics the first couple of years). Anything is possible, but everything requires a compromise.
bigphil1984
Need to start saving for a good greenhouse then lol [emoji6]Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
Tropicat
These nepenthes do grow very slow. By the time you have one of these pitchers, you are a few years ahead, and they are not that easy to grow imo.

manders
I used to have one, impossible to fit in a windowsill, 3 ft diameter plant, heading towards 4ft diameter when i killed it. Edited August 1, 2017 by manders
Picavorus
I keep a Bicalcarata in my terrarium, it's just got its first proper fanged pitchers this year. So far, it seems quite easy to keep as long as it's warm and humid it's quite happy.
Dr. GreenThumb
I love Bicalcarata but I also decided not to get one until i build a greenhouse. Great plant!
