To this day I've never actually seen anything fall in / stick to / get trapped by any of my carnivorous plants whilst I am watching. Must happen when I blink or turn away because the pants are gorging. When the weather is like this, my greenhouse is buzzing, and I can see flies drop into the Sarra pitchers quite regularly.
