linuxman
Don't throw away those bits of old rhizomes, plant them up and you should get many new growth points. This is an Adrian Slack with about 10 new points growing. Should have a few small plants next year.
Stu
Indeed, as long as the rhizome is not soft and brown (i.e., rotted), you should be able to stimulate new growth. I've regenerated quite a few plants from blind rhizomes over the years... they come on surprisingly quick.
nev3970
Hi going of your plant lable your plant should be Sarracenia (leucophylla x oreophila) SX-17 when you say Adrian slack are you referring to the plant that code for Adrian Slack is Sarracenia x moorei 'Adrian Slack' H-113-MK
danl82
That might be his own personal set of codes. There isn't a set of codes applicable to everyones plants, for example H113mk is only mike kings code for that plant, someone else may have as H3 being the third hybrid they bought.

Recently potted up a couple of mine and they now have new growth points. :)

Mike uses H for hybrids whereas I use SX for sarracenia cross as I had some heliamphora when I started the system. That's why I put the 'AS' on the label so I wouldn't forget! You can check my not so up to date growlist for confirmation.
