sourwuff 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2016 Can anyone give me an estimate of the plant size vs root size for a mature ventrata? Mine's getting pretty tall (between the 2 vines it's 1m across and 75cm high, with a 3rd vine of lower pitchers coming in) and I'm wondering how long it'll last in its current pot and what size to expect to upgrade to. Current pot is 25cmx15cm. Thanks!
Tortoise_Girl 1 Report post Posted December 1 This post deserves a bump, since I need to ask the same exact question!!! So I read that you should plant a Nepenthis in a big container to facilitate maximum root growth. And to prepare for future adult growing sizes.... So what is the optimal sized hanging container for Nepenthes × Ventrata? Perhaps my hanging pot that I have my new 5" Nep in is too small... I'll have to find out I guess. sourwuff 0 Report post Posted December 1 Update: It’s been in the same pot since I made this post and has flowered every year with lots of new growth, so looks like the pot I have it in is all right :p
