Deltatango301
Well I remember the experts were talking about Global Warming, and when it did not turn Out to be so they called it Climate Change. So now it's Raining like very day what are we going to call it. Edited June 29, 2016 by Deltatango301

manders
A good match to all the computer models.
Phil Green
You need to remember, Global Warming means that the planet as a whole is getting warmer. That doesn't mean that it will get warmer everywhere and by the same amount. It wasn't called British Warming Warm air holds more water, which means there is more to fall out. Like manders said - a good match to the models. On the plus side, our water butts are full. I haven't seen any moans about lack of water for plants this year.
billynomates666
I dunno what to call it, but I have several tons of Gopher wood, lashings, and bitumen and am picking the best pairs of my plants out. Steve

Yossu
My trouble is I want to move one of my water butts. Not when it's full you don't! When we got ours, I was worried about the small children pulling it over. ha, needn't have worried about that, I can't even shift it slightly! Got to love the British summer! tatter
My trouble is I want to move one of my water butts. buy another one and empty the old one into it then move it. Bit like digging a hole to put the soil from the previous hole. tongue firmly planted in cheek of course. jim

Pearl777
isnt it extra rainy this year bcs of el nino? do you mostly give your plants rainwater or distilled or reverse osmosis? Does it make a difference?
Deltatango301
Not where I live in east anglia it's been very dry over the last 8 weeks. I only feed my plants rainwater if it runs out it will be costly for RO. I think most would like to feed them rainwater in the first place. I have added another water butt of 100 Ltrs so got 500 Ltrs now. All I need now is a big storm, they keep saying it's coming but it keeps missing us.
