ada
Hello all, Don't you just hate time wasters. I replied to a post for a plant wanted but only from the U.K AND NOT posted by a well known courier. I explained the plant was a plant and not just a rooted leaf cutting and offered to send a photo. Had a nice reply back, saying no hurry, how much do you want and paypal details please, no problem so far! Sent a reply back saying £30 plus postage and got a short reply saying no way are you getting £30 for such a common plant out of him. Fine,i'll keep my plant, one less person to deal with. I hate people who want good plants for nowt, how long do they think it takes to grow a good plant? ada
Mark Anderson
I think that's a really good price for the plant in question, since I have seen listing for it, as high as a €100. I also seem to remember that the same person was trying to sell a darwin book for £5000 on fleaBay. Mark
manders
The world is full of nutters, not much point getting irritated by them. More fun winding them up if they can be made to take the bait.

corky
Personally I think winding people up is well out of order , but if the plant is still available I'll give you £5 if you pay the postage
Blocky71
My partner has just shown an interest in this thread, she wants to make a counter offer to corkys.... She said she'll happily pay £6 for a big boy..... I wasn't even aware she liked carnivorous plants......
ada
That's a tough decision for me to make guys but my wife has said she'll have it rather than give it away(so long as she can keep it in the greenhouse)
