It is the first time to post my cephalotus in here CPUK.

I took some photos last month by mobile as the weather was quite warm.

Wow! Best pics so far of Cephs I've seen.

 

Just receive a pot this week, would love to have some nice looking Cephs like those.

 

How do you water them? Often? Top, bottom or both?

 

How much sun?

Water Cephs from the bottom Mako.

If I'm around then I wait for the water tray to empty before sticking another inch or so back in.

If I'm not around then I'll put enough water in the tray to ensure the plant doesn't dry out.

Watering from the top can cause crown rot, more so in wet/winter weather.

Grown in full sun the plant will gain a red/purple colouration, grown in shade it will remain greener and will usually produce slightly larger pitchers.
