Carnivine
Last year, I accidentally sprayed all my flytraps with weedkiller, and as you would expect, they didnt do very well after that. I have been going through them one by one today, and decided that, before throwing them away, I would dig down the pot and see if anything was happening. To my surprise, some of them were actually producing tiny traps about half way down the peat, completely covered from any sunlight by the peat on top of them. Can anyone tell me why they are growing so far down in the peat?

Alexis
Depends which bit of the rhizome survived and sprouted. Presumably the areas lower down escaped
