Nice plant Jcal but I'm sure there was a ' gentleman's agreement ' that you don't include the lid.....

I guess it's like including your ball bag when measuring your knob.....

Hahaha can't stop laughing at that!!!!

I have to agree though as the lid can vary in angle soooo much with Cephs I don't count it.

Have to say though sill very impressive what's your secret??

Just too funny  :laugh1:

Yeah i seem to recall there was a kinda gentlemen's agreement that as the lid angle can vary, the measurement was to be taken from the lid hinge ?

I'd love to get pitchers anywhere near that size with any of my cephs, but they're mostly all just a mass of non carnivorous leaves with a few pitchers...

I'm a member of the half inch club.

something like the angle of the dangle then I suppose.

Definitely a well endowed plant though Jcal.

From what I recall Jcal it's the girth that counts and you've got a nice fat............ Midrib !.

It was down to the Cephs lids habit of opening and closing that made it tough to get a true measurement so it was kind of agreed that you measure from the top of the peristome ( teethy bit ) to the base.

It's still a cracking plant and one I'd be happy to own !.

All the best from a 1 and a half incher !!!!!!
