I have to agree though as the lid can vary in angle soooo much with Cephs I don't count it. Have to say though sill very impressive what's your secret?? Just too funny  Yeah i seem to recall there was a kinda gentlemen's agreement that as the lid angle can vary, the measurement was to be taken from the lid hinge ? I'd love to get pitchers anywhere near that size with any of my cephs, but they're mostly all just a mass of non carnivorous leaves with a few pitchers... It was down to the Cephs lids habit of opening and closing that made it tough to get a true measurement so it was kind of agreed that you measure from the top of the peristome ( teethy bit ) to the base.
