My heliamphoras

Some of my Heliamphoras and Nepenthes are growing only in living sphagnum

But sphagnum are large and fast-growing relative to other mosses, therefore in my displays I use other much smaller bryophytes: Hypnum cupressiforme, Brachythecium rutabulum, Leucobryum glaucum and others. They only grow on a substrate which is a mix of peat and perlite (in this mix grow heliamphoras)

Heliamphoras intense coloration is the result of a large amount of light and the night temperature drops (from 21 to about 15°C)
