North West Neps
If your spathulata x glabrata grows anything like mine, it'll soon need a terrarium of it's own !
Christian Voss
Hi there, some time passed since I posted the last pictures. So, here are some new ones... Enough for today. Have fun, regards, Christian
Vince81
Nice plants and pictures ! About your H. "Tequila" in your previous post, as far as I can remember, the point is that's the name given by EP of a batch of seeds resulting from a specific crossing made a while ago (can't remember the species involved at the moment). As a matter of fact, different clones were released, all called H. "Tequila" but labelled with letter (A, B, C....). That's why sometimes, one can stumble upon a different clone than the "classic" one, more widespread. Just my 2 cents.
Christian Voss
Hi Vince, interestings statement, I just didn't know that they released different "Tequila"-clones. But I think, that my plant is very far away from what everyone knows as H. 'Tequila'. If the same parent plants are involved, there should be at least a minimum of similarity. It nevertheless is a beautyfull plant, whatever it realy is... A few more pics today. This time not taken inside the terra, but in front of the "black wall"... Have fun, best regards, Christian
Vince81
If the same parent plants are involved, there should be at least a minimum of similarity. Well, if it's really the same pod which gave this variety of H. "Tequila", then, you'll be surprised. I found the link I was looking for. Have a look, you'll find it enlightening hopefully ;) : http://pitcherplants.proboards.com/thread/5777/faces-tequila?page=1&scrollTo=52909
Christian Voss
Hi Vince, yes, that's realy surprising. What a mass of variations. Interesting fact, that there seems to be only one variety, that stayed in mind as what we know to be a H. 'Tequila'. So, maybe mine's one of the others, but I'm still not very sure... Back to the pitchers, here are some new pics: Best regards, Christian
