Care

Nepenthes Lowii

Recommended Posts

I visited california carnivores and they gave me a free water wheel plant. I live in Texas and I haven't a clue to care fr them.

the water in the trays for my other plants outside get to like 100 f in the day and I think that will kill them.

In cal. Carn, they hade them growing in a tiny tub by themselves, but I don't think that's longterm.

can I just grow them in the water tub where all of my temperate plants grow?

or will I need a pond type thing?

thanks

I had a thriving colony last year but it got overtaken by filamentous algae and I think all the plants are dead now. I shall set a new tank up over the winter and leave it mature before trying again next spring.
